Whether you’ve used an open car transport service or you’ve got a long daily commute, cleaning your car is work. This chore is even more difficult if you’re trying to live a chemical free life. Here are some toxic free car cleaning tips to help you get the job done without exposing you and your family to all the stuff found in most cleaners.
Add the Household Cleaner to a spray bottle and fill the bottle almost to the top with water. Spray dash and interior panel surfaces, then wipe dry with an anti-lint cloth.

Add the first 3 ingredients to the spray bottle. Then fill the bottle almost to the top with water.
Spray any glass surface and wipe clean with a dry anti-lint cloth.

Add the household cleaner to the spray bottle, then fill with water.
To clean spots on fabric seats: Spray the spot with the cleaner mixture and then blot clean with a white cloth. Repeat as necessary.
For Leather or Vinyl car seats: Spray seats with the cleaner mixture and wipe with an anti-lint cloth. For mild stains – Apply Thieves Aromabright Toothpaste to the spot then gently rub with a soft brush. Wipe away clean. Repeat as necessary.

To make your carpets springtime fresh: Mix all ingredients in a bowl then pour into the glass shaker bottle. Gently shake onto carpet and vacuum.

For exterior wash: Add 1/4 – 1/2 Cup Thieves Household Cleaner to a bucket of water. Wash with a microfiber cloth.
Dingy headlights can really cause issues if you drive a lot at night, especially in the winter months. Here’s an easy and chemical free remedy you can do right in your driveway. Put a small amount of toothpaste on a damp sponge and rub on the headlight for a few minutes. Wipe off excess and buff with a dry cloth.
