Can I Use A Cover To Protect My Car During Transport?

<< Back

No you cannot transport a car with a car cover on. A car cover is made to be stationary. During transport the cover would rub against your vehicle’s paint and ruin the finish. It can also catch air and even act like a parachute!

You may consider self adhesive wrap, but you must make time for it to arrive at your location and you are would have to place it on the vehicle. The carrier will not have it with them.

If you do wrap the vehicle, nothing can cover the windows, ventilation grilles, or exhaust pipe (if applicable). For example, some vehicles have exhaust pipes built into the rear bumper.
